Uwharrie Farm is a three generation family farm nestled in the rolling hills of the Piedmont Region of North Carolina. The Uwharrie Mountains overlook rolling pastures, woodlands, gardens and greenhouses on our 120 acre farm. Committed to an environmentally friendly agriculture and safe food supply, our family has operated the farm since 1987.
We take food quality and stewardship of the land seriously. Preservation of farmland, food quality, air quality and our environment are critical to all of us. With this in mind we are happy to share information that may help others preserve the environment and promote sustainable agriculture.
Our greenhouse tomatoes are available in the spring and fall. We have been told that our tomatoes are the best at the farmer's market. We credit this to our use of organic growing methods.

From Asheboro, hwy 49 S, about 8 miles out the hwy divides to 4 lanes,immediately turn left on Waynick Meadow Rd., Uwharrie Farm is 2 miles ahead on the left.
