McAdams Farm is located in Efland, North Carolina in northern Orange County. We have approximately five acres of produce, including almost 2 acres of pre-picked and pick-your-own strawberries. The farm has been in operation since 1885. We grew tobacco until the year 2000, and have since diversified into the other products listed. The farm is also home to a 125 pair commercial cow-calf operation.
Three generations currently work at the farm. Howard Sr., Howard Jr. and Karen, and Callie and Elizabeth are all important to the operation. There is always work to be done with the vegetables, strawberries, and cattle.
Call or stop by for more information. We look forward to seeing you!
