Winn Family Farms is a family-owned and -operated grazing enterprise in Northampton County. Recognizing that grassfarming is an environmentally friendly means of earning a living from the land while respecting its integrity, we present a healthful meat product to the consumer at a fair price.
Utilizing USDA-inspected processing, we insure that our grass-fed lamb is available to you in a safe and wholesome condition. Grass-fed lamb presents the creative cook with an opportunity to feed the family a meat that is flavorful, lean, and tender. Lamb produced in such a natural and humane manner is also higher in omega-3 fatty acids and conjugated linoleic acid than even grass-fed beef or bison, and is rich in lutein. Of course, we use no sub-therapeutic antibiotics or hormones in growing our animals.
The Winn family has engaged in agriculture in North Carolina and Virginia since the 1620s. It is our goal to continue farming for many years to come. We hope that you will find our products a healthful and delicious addition to your table.
