A History of Growing
Toms Creek Farm and Nursery covers
approximatly 500 acres and is
situated in the green rolling hills
of the Uwharrie Mountain range in a
crossroads community known as
Farmer. Toms Creek has been family owned and
operated for more than 70 years
passed down for 4 generations.
While our farm has been open to the
public for many years, we now are pleased
to offer 3 open air pavilions nestled on
our property. These pavilions are
available for rent year round for
weddings, receptions, church functions,
family or class reunions and birthday
parties.
Toms Creek offers field trip programs
which follow the Standard Course of Study
as mandated by the State. On staff our
certified teacher, Mary Carol Forkner
works with public, private and home
school groups to develop field trip
programs which range from science related
topics to history and writing workshops.
