When it's feedn' time
Martelle's opened in March of 1997 by Martelle & Veronica Marshall. In 2000 the name "Feed House" was included after moving a feed tank from our old hog operation to the restaurant for a sign. It has become our "trademark".
We offer a wide variety of items from our menu. Our own bar-b-que, Fried chicken, steaks, thick cut chops, all kinds of seafood (local when we can), a senior menu, and a large variety of sandwiches and salads. A daily lunch buffet is offered as well as the full menu. Our salad bar is available all day.
In January of 2003 we began a major expansion project. Our seating capacity was expanded from 70 to 160. We offer a private banquet room and off site catering. A gift shop and a steam bar now are located in our old dining areas.

We are located on US highway 264 , just west of the village of Engelhard. From the Raleigh area, take 64 to 264, head east. From the Manteo area, take 64 to 264, head west.
