Deer Springs Farm is a second-generation farm and one of only nineteen certified organic farms in North Carolina. We just recently received our USDA Organic certification and are ready to test the organic waters.
We work through a cooperative of farmers in Asheville (COG) and are members of NCDA's Goodness Grows in North Carolina. Also a new part of our farm is CSA, Community Supported Agriculture, a model that started in the U.S. around the eighties. CSA is usually reserved for organic and other health conscious growers. As a member of our CSA program, you become part of our family heritage: each week during an allotted four to six month interum, you receive a box of assorted produce, freshly picked from the farm. With a share purchase, you become part and parcel of all the benefits of the fruits of the harvest.
Deer Springs Farm crops are grown in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina in Cleveland and Rutherford counties. We welcome all who would like to visit and just chat awhile, or also those who might enjoy a bit of exercise, maybe weeding or collecting

strawberries, cantaloupe, cabbage, squash, green beans, corn, onion, bell pepper, asparagus, blackberries, blueberries, tomatoes, crowder peas, eggplant, cucumber, butter beans, watermelon, okra, collards, jalapeno peppers, eggs
