Ours is truly an unusual business,especially in today's fast-paced, machine-oriented world. We can probably say "we are the largest hand-made cookie company in the world!"
Our business began over 75 years ago when my mother made these special cookies to supplement the family farm income. Little has changed since that time. Electric ovens have replaced my mother's wood stove, but every cookie we make is still hand-rolled, hand-cut, and hand-packed.
We are still a family business employing my husband, children and grandchildren, as well as many cousins, aunts & uncles. Call for a personal guided tour, Monday-Friday from 9am to 2pm. Watch our cookies being made and get a sample fresh from the oven.
We make the most delicious cookies in the world! Six different flavors. We ship 1/2 tubes or one and two pound tins. Cellophane bags can be purchased at our bakery.
From Winston-Salem: Take Hwy.150 west
(aka:Peters Creek Parkway),turn right on Central Rd.(approx. 7 miles). Go to stop sign.Turn left onto Friedberg Church Road. Bakery is one mile on left.
From Clemmons: Take Clemmons exit off I-40. Continue through Clemmons until road dead ends.Turn left at stop sign onto Idols Road. Go half mile, turn right on Hampton Rd. Go half mile turn left on Frye Bridge Rd. Go approx. 4 miles to Friedberg Church Rd. Turn left. Bakery will be on your right.
Mon-Fri: 7am-5pm. Sat. 9am-2pm. (In Oct.,Nov.,& Dec., we are open Saturdays from 8am-4pm.)
