The Wilson Farmers Market was organized in 2008 as a market opportunity for local growers and consumers. Both Farmers and Consumers made the market a success!
It is a market for growers to come together and offer consumers fresh local produce and local foods. It gives consumers a chance to purchase the products directly from the the grower who produced them. In this age of imported food safety concerns and economic concerns, the Wilson Farmers Market gave consumers a chance to look right across the table from the people who grew and harvested the products. We look forward to another great year in 2013!
