Our Grandmother's name was Luna. In 1973 Ben & Jackie bought her farm and moved on the property, keeping the farm in the Hobbs family. Throughout Grandmama's life she prepared for "Party Time" on Saturday mornings assuring her family had a special cake, candy, or pie for Sunday gatherings. Luna was a wonderful cook, a gracious host and a true southern lady. She always had a vegetable garden with beautiful flowers about the edges. As we are concentrating on Special Events, "Party Time," fresh classic Southern dishes, and locally grown flower presentations; we could not think of a more perfect name than "Luna's Market".

Luna's Market is an fully restored and furnished house with country gardens. Our facility is the perfect place for gatherings of family, business, and/or friends. We can accommodate up to 65 guest in the restaurant (35 guest downstairs with an additional 30 guest upstairs) Our venue is set back off a country road leaving us an expansive lawn that can accommodate tents for larger parties. We are historically charming yet up to date with all our amenities.

We are currently hosting mini farmer's markets on 1st and 3rd Saturdays with the dining area serving the featured market items for brunch.

Vegetables, restaurant, floral presentations

From US 17 (Ocean Highway) take Snug Harbor Road to the community of Bethel. Take the first left onto Pender Road. We are the first left. (yellow house just beyond the pecan trees)
