Established in 1947, the Southern Kitchen is a landmark of
Whiteville, NC. Serving New Southern Cuisine mixed with
continental European classics and a twist of Asian, this is
the perfect location for a nice moderately upscale meal,
wonderful atmosphere and great service.
Our food is made with mostly locally grown organic products.

Since 1947, the Southern Kitchen has been a landmark in
Whiteville, serving as many different types of food through
the years as one could imagine, having been in turn a
country restaurant, an Italian restaurant, a Greek
restaurant and even a Mexican restaurant.
Today, it is a fine-dining European restaurant and lounge
that blends French cooking with Southern flair and an Asian
twist. Chef Sokun, who was featured in magazines such as
Southern Living, is a French-Cambodian, classically trained,
national award-winning chef who will delight the
discriminating food lover with her amazing creations and
exquisite selections.

Directions:
We are located downtown Whiteville, across from the Chamber of
Commerce and three doors up from Sophie's Cafe-Bistro.
Hours of Operation:
We serve lunch Tuesday through Friday, from 11 to 2.
We serve dinner Thursday through Saturday, from 5 to 9.
