B & M Farms

About US
The farm has been in the family for over 200 years. Like any typical eastern North Carolina farm we raised tobacco, corn, soy beans and cotton. We raise registered Limonsin cows, Shorthorn cows and commerical cows. Most of our cows are breed using A.I. This gives us access to millions of different bulls. We have a shorthorn bull we use at times.

In 1989, My sons joined the local 4-H and wanted to show lambs at local and the state fair for a project. When they were old enough, we started showing cows also. We had several champion show lambs and cattle. We won the Limonsin Heifer show at the North Carolina State Fair in 2002 and 2004. We also won reserve champion heifer in the commerical breed show.

All of our cows are raised to be champions. They are breed to have alot of muscle and not alot of excess fat. This produces good quality lean beef with little fat. A combination needed for a healther diet.
