Devine Farms is a 133 acre family owned and operated farm in the heart of Catawba County. We have a lifetime of experience farming. We love teaching and educating people about all aspects of modern & traditional agriculture through fun and hands-on activities. We offer 30 plus years working with children. Susie has worked and volunteered with 4-H for 13 years. Susie coordinated 4-H after-school programs at 22 sites in the county, teaching about agriculture is her passion. We brought our passion for agriculture & our love for children to the farm in hopes of giving them a better understanding of how everything they do revolves around & starts with agriculture.
The family also owns & operates a 6 house modern poultry facitily, along with raising cattle, sheep, goats, and produce. Devine Farms is very concerned with being good stewards of the land and have placed many enviormental and wildlife practices into the farming operation. Joe served as a Supervisor on Catawba County's Soil & Water Board for 4 yrs. Susie now serves as a Supervisor on the same board. Protecting our environment & wildlife is very important to us and our farming operation.
We hope that when you leave Devine Farms you feel like you've gained a better understanding about all forms of agriculture and how it effects your everyday life, have a greater appreciation for the American Farmer, and most importantly, feel like you've become a part of our family and farm.
