SonRidge Farm

Caring for and Educating about God's creatures

About US
We are a small family homestead with our enterprising homeschooled children learning many heritage crafts, some of which they teach the public in workshops and seminars. They share a love of horses, the outdoors, and a desire to "do it themselves" from making their own butter and cheese to crafting useful items to use on the farm.

Our farm is an ever changing collection of animals; as, at 6yrs of age, Allie set out on a quest to gather "one of everything Under the Sun." We have bred dairy goats for 10yrs and currently have Saanens, LaManchas, Alpines, and Nubians.

Always intersted in fiber animals, Allie started her adventure with sheep then switched her focus to Angora Goats. She still keeps a few llamas and Alpacas for their fiber.

Special News

Currently Allie is stuggling to meet the demand for her newly released bar of goat milk soap that is a 3-dimensional figure of a cute puppy/dog. She is making this soap in two stages so she can mount the intricate bar atop a large plain bath bar thus preserving the figure for longer as you hold the bar over the top and wash with the lower part of the bar.
