Providence Produce is the highest volume open air produce retailer in the Charlotte area. We operate three seasonal produce markets mid March thru late September and October. We employ approximately 30 employees each year. Although we have grown just a little bit bigger over the years, we still operate the way we started, taking care of one customer at a time, delivering consistency and quality. Since 2002 our seasonal outdoor markets in and around the Charlotte area have served our community and beyond with fresh produce grown in and around the Carolinas. Our main facility and offices are located in Indian Trail, North Carolina, just down from our Rock Store-Stallings stand. We also supply restaurants and other companies of the trade with quality locally grown produce.

Mission Statement: To provide our community with the freshest grown produce, through our marketing efforts we strive to promote local agriculture at an affordable price.

Environmential Responsibility: We understand the environmental impact of our operations and constantly seek opportunities to improve it. The food industry has a significant impact on the environment and needs to address issues ranging from carbon emissions, water scarcity and fertilizer usage to biodiversity. We are determined to play our part. In 2007 we began recycling all crates by reverse distribution, our trucks are full of empty pallets, bin boxes, and crates when they arrive back at the growers. This is saves our growers money and increases our sustainability.
