Grown in the shadow of the Craggy Mountains

We are a member of North Carolina Century Farms and have recently converted our small cattle farm to raising sustainable crops. Our goal is to experiment and establish new and exciting crops for small farms in North Carolina
Currently we are experimenting with hops. Much research is being devoted with the crop this year and the next two years to determine if hops can survive here in North Carolina.
Next year, we are planning to expand our experimentation with another native plant that many consider a weed. More to come on this in the months to come

From I-40 take exit 64. Turn north on Hwy 9. Continue 1/2 mile past third stoplignt in Black Mountain. Turn left onto North Fork Road and continue 1.3 miles. Turn right onto North Fork Right Fork Rd. and continue another 1.3 miles. Turn right onto Walkertown Rd. and continue 100 yds. Turn right onto Middle Mountain Rd. Farm is ahead on the right.
