Maple View Agricultural Center is an Agritourism facility designed by educators to teach children about agriculture in relation to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study in Science. Our center opened its doors in April of 2009. Since our opening we have served public schools, private, homeschoolers, and preschool groups. The groups are offered Maple View Milk and Maple View Ice Cream as an option on their tour. Our facility can accommodate up to 120 students by grade level at once.
Weekends at MVAC are a fun retreat for the whole family. Come visit our barnyard, enjoy the hayride, relax in our picnic area, explore the working garden, and play on our brand new playground.
The MVAC barnyard is chock full of animal friends to meet. See Sassy our miniature donkey and her foal.
