Corn Maze/Pumpkins/Christmas Trees Fall 2009,
Our farm is located on the West side of Cary. This farm has been in my family for over 110 years in a continous farming operation. We are the fourth generation to live in our house which was build by my great grandfather Charles Ferrell in the year 1900. Many of the original farm buildings are still in place today. Myself, my wife Beth and daughter Sarah reside here today.
Our farm produced Flue-Cured Tobacco up until 2000 when we decided to discontinue the tobacco to pursue other business interest. It is still an active farm today producing Soybeans and is operating a Cow/Calf beef operation.
Development has come our way in the past 20 years. We welcome the new people and hope to be able to provide them with the beauty of our farm that we have been so blessed to retain. We have had to diversify into other farm options due to the loss of surrounding land to development. We think that you will find our farm a welcoming place that you can relax and enjoy. God has blessed us and as Christians we welcome everyone.
