Chickens are housed in a cage free environment. Breeds utilized are Rhode Island Red, Cochins, Japanese Blacktail, White Leghorns and Barred Rocks. All breeds are separated to keep strains pure and not crossbred.
Large enough to fill sizeable orders but chickens are not concentrated like in commercial houses.

From Hwy 52 take Germanton Rd/Hwy 8 exit (left off ramp); Follow Hwy 8 through Germanton (will turn off to left); About 1mi when Hwy 8 turns to left, turn right on Brook Cove Rd; Continue 4 mi. on Brook Cove Rd then turn left on Piney Mtn. Rd.; Continue 3mi on Piney Mtn. Rd then turn right on John Harger Rd.; Continue 0.2mi and farm will be on left.
