Relax for a while in a rocking chair or hammock while enjoying a cone of authentic Homemade ice cream or an 'ol timey glass bottled Coke from the BoneHead Cafe'.You might enjoy taking a leisurely stroll up to the DeStarte' Bed and Breakfast Inn which is located directly behind the store. On a cool mountain morning enjoy a hot cup of coffee as you sit by the fireplace and let yourself be enchanted by the Legend of Redbone Willy. Just sit back,relax, and enjoy all the goodness that the past has to offer.

The DeStarte' Bed and Breakfast Inn is an excellent example of a two-story Queen Anne Victorian style home nestled amidst 85 acres of rural farmland at the base of the scenic South Mountains. The Inn offers five standard bedrooms with private/or shared baths. All baths are large and spaciious. A cabin with accommodations for two are also available. All rooms have cable TV, heat and air. All guests are served a hearty full country style breakfast each morning in the dining room or on the Veranda.

Unlike what most proclaim as " homemade" ice cream, Redbone Willy's makes on premise a true authentic homemade ice cream custard. Taking a traditional family recipe and tweaking it to perfection over thirteen months, our made-from-scratch ice cream is truly "the creamiest and most wonderful ever made". All of our BoneHead Cafe' sandwiches and fixings are made fresh daily and made to order. Whether your sandwich choice be a Toluca 'Mater Melt , a Big Daddy Burger,a Crabcake Burger, or a Chicken Salad sandwich our fresh squeezed lemonade, orangeade, or Southern Sweet Tea will compliment them all. Other homemade sweet favorites worth venturing out for are Peggy's Red Velvet Cake and our Fried Apple Pies.

We are centrally located about 15 miles from the surrounding towns of Lincolnton, Shelby, Hickory ,and Morganton at the intersection of Highways 18 and 27 in Toluca. Major interstates I- 40 and I-85 are only 30 away. We are 45 miles west of Charlotte.

Open 7 days weekly, our hours are Monday thru Saturday 10 am to 6pm and Sundays 1pm to 6pm
