Archibald's Greenhouses is a family-owned horticultural business with over 30 years of experience in growing high quality, healthy plants that do well in this region. They specialize in geraniums but also raise a wide assortment of annuals, perennials, bedding plants, heirloom tomato plants, vegetable plants, herb plants and more. Elmer Archibald is a North Carolina Department of Agriculture Certified Grower and is in the Got to be NC and Goodness Grows in North Carolina consumer marketing programs. This is the 14th year his wife Betty has sold their plants from mid-March through November at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market only. They do not sell plants at their greenhouses.

Specializing in a wide selection of flowering and vegetable plants including Calliope and Rocky Mountain Geraniums, Sun Coleus, Shade Coleus, Wave Petunias, Impatiens, Vinca, Begonias, Lantana, Marigolds, Butterfly Bushes, Black-eyed Susan Vines, Moonflower Vines, Coreopsis, Dianthus, Salvia, Zinnias, Goldfish plant, Candy Corn Vines, Sweet Potato Vines, Bedding Plants, Fall Mums, Pansies and Violas, Miniature Roses, Ferns, bedding plants, plus many other Annual and Perennial plant varieties including exclusive new petunia plants in unique colors developed by the grower, Elmer Archibald. Available in either hanging baskets and/or single pots; bedding plants in multi-packs and flats. In addition to flowering plants, Archibald's also raises vegetable plants including over fifty varieties of Heirloom and Hybrid Tomato plants, Cucumbers, Pepper Plants, Squash, Zucchini, Eggplant, Watermelon, Canteloupe, Herb Plants and others. Available in either multi-packs, flats and/or single pots.

The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market, 2914 Sandy Ridge Road, Colfax, NC, just off I-40, exit 208 between Greensboro and Kernersville. You can find Archibald's in Farmers Area #1 (on right as you enter the Market), spaces #9-10. Just look for Archibald's large white banner with a red geranium.
