About US
Scott Farm was started in 1835 and has seen many crops such as cotton, corn, soybeans, tobacco, and even cattle. Since the decline in family farms, Scott Farm was not farmed for a few years. In January 2007, with the help of a grant from RAFI-USA, Scott Farm Organics was created. We are now able to use the family farm for what it is meant to be - bringing family together, planting and harvesting, to create a blessed life.

Our farm is located in a small town called Rhems in Jones County, NC near New Bern. We are excited to bring organic vegetables to the New Bern area. We are the first USDA Certified Organic Farm in our area as well. We received our Organic Certificate in June of 2007.

Our Products
USDA Certified Organic, swiss chard, romaine lettuce, sugar snap peas, summer squash, winter squash, cucumbers, melons, sweet corn, green beans, butterbeans, sweet potatoes, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, carrots, beets, radishes, lettuces, greens, turnips, broccoli, spinach, cabbage

We sell our vegetables at the New Bern Farmers' Market. It is located in downtown New Bern at 421 Tryon Palace Drive. Scott Farm Organics' roadside stand that is located on Highway 17 South appproximately 1 mile past the Craven/Jones County line on the left.
