Apple Brandy Beef is raised on our third generation family farms in the foothills of western North Carolina - the same foothills made famous by moonshiners and bootleggers since the years of prohibition.
Apple Brandy Beef is produced from Hereford and Angus cowherds. For generations our family has selected specific genetics in an effort to produce a superior cow herd. Our beef is the product of these prestigious cow herds. We know the pedigree and complete history, including exact age, of each animal that goes into our beef program. On our farms we do NOT use synthetic hormones or antibiotics, except for medical necessity.
When animals reach the appropriate age to enter the beef program, they are fed a nutritionally balanced mixture of corn and grain, in addition to their normal pasture - no animal by-products! This specific finishing mixture combined with our genetic selections produce a product filled with tenderness and the appropriate amount of marbling.
