Slowing down in Advance
We inherited the farm several years ago but it wasn't in operation due to illness. We are slowly expanding it. Since moving back here we have made three additional land purchases along with tractors and equipment to increase production. Stop by and visit our donkeys, Slick Willie, Sugarbeet, Hazel McGuire and Ed McGuire. The goats are friendly, as well as the 3 dogs. The cats are skittish but that's how barn cats are.
All of our chickens roam over more than six acres and return home every night.(sometimes in our home!). We do not feed them any hormones or egg boosting suppliments. There are at least six varieties of chickens. Mostly brown eggs and average large to extra large.
Our hay is grown on land that is not sprayed with pesticides or herbicides. It is horse quality fescue but every now and then a shower will catch us offguard. That hay is only sold for cows at a reduced price.

From I-40, Exit #180, go south on Hwy 801 about 6 miles. Turn left on the 2nd Peoples Creek Rd. Go 1.5m to Burton Rd and turn right. Go 1.5m and turn left on Zimmerman Rd. Go .2m and bear right on Wendell Ln. Go .1m and turn into our driveway.
Weekdays 3:00pm to 8pm. Sat and Sun 10am. to 5pm.
