Our Story
Kathryn started making this delicious candy for family and friends around
1988. I met Kathryn 10 years later in the fall of 1998 and soon after, she relocated to Long Island, NY
where we brought HoneyByrd Sweets to life.
In the summer of 2000, we married, moved to Charlotte,
NC and on October 14th 2000, we introduced our Milk Chocolate-Covered
Butter-Crunch Toffee, at the Charlotte Farmers Market.� With the warm welcome we received, our
treats spread quickly reaching families throughout the country and around the
world.
HoneyByrd SweetsTM�candy is
sold on a personal level, bringing these delicious homemade treats to market
every Saturday morning.� Now in our
6th year, we have nearly 40 varieties of Toffees, Brittles, and Barks,� some available
in Sugar Free. Our customers have become family and have supported our dream
turning this hobby into a fulltime commitment.
With well over 7000 customers to date, Kathryn
continues to make every batch of candy personally, keeping customer
satisfaction at the top of her list.
All of our toffee and brittle treats are made in small
batches to ensure only the best quality, and our products are backed with a

batch of our toffee is cooked on the
stove top, then
hand poured over chopped nuts. A layer

covers the toffee and is then topped off
