The 1812 Hitching Post is the perfect place for your unforgettable wedding. You can be one of the few couples lucky enough to marry in the Carolina's only authentic antebellum plantation dedicated exclusively to weddings and social events.
Relax and let us host your complete ceremony, reception, rehearsal, or other gathering including award winning photography, videography, delicious buffet, and a beautiful setting. Your ceremony can be held indoors in our chapel or wisteria room or outside in one of our many romantic locations. Our home is your home for weddings from two people to 200.

The Hitching Post is conveniently located near Statesville on US 21 North in Iredell County, North Carolina.
We're about 10 miles north of the crossroads of Interstate 77 and Interstate 40. We're about an hour from Charlotte, 30 minutes from Winston and Hickory, and just over an hour from Greensboro, South Carolina, and Virginia.
