Please be advised that we have limited parking if you haven't been to our farm before. If there are several in your family driving more than one car, it would be helpful if you only drove one car up to park and the others park either at the church or medical park below our house. We will haul your trees down to your cars and load. Thanksgiving weekend is extremely busy so the earlier in the week or even earlier in the day for that weekend you can come out, the better for you and us!
The Nesbitt Christmas Tree Farm has been in operation for over 40 years. We originally shipped most of our trees on the wholesale market but found that the retail market allowed us to meet and greet repeat customers year after year, thus, we sell all our trees retail right here on our family farm!
We are both a "choose and cut" farm as well as pre-cut tree farm for those who do not want to walk and cut their own. After December 6th we will no longer be bringing cut trees off the mountain to sell on our driveway; rather you need to be prepared to walk and choose your own tree. We will be happy to assist you in cutting and hauling the tree up to load. It is important to know that our farm is located in the mountains of Western North Carolina and sturdy shoes are necessary to walk around our mountain searching for your tree.
We do provide bow saws to cut with but for those who prefer to dig their tree, please bring your own shovel and burlap to ball your tree with.
Frazer Fir Christmas Trees, wreaths, table arrangements, kissing balls
We will have a limited selection of wreaths, arrangements and kissing balls. If you know in advance that you are needing these, please email me with your phone number and the number you will need of each item.
Take I-40 to exit 27. This will put you on Hwy. 74/19-23. Take exit 105 and at the bottom of the ramp/light turn left. At the next light turn right. This puts you on Hospital Drive. Past the Haywood Regional Medical Center you will see Mountain Medical Center where you will turn left onto Spicewood Drive. There will be signs directing you. Go approximately 200 yds. and turn left on the first road, Sunset Ridge. Proceed to the end of the road by following the signs. Please be advised that if you are pulling a trailer to haul your tree, we are limited with parking so it would be best to park it at the church you will pass on your way up and walk. We will assist you in getting your tree back to your car and/or trailer.
Weekdays 2:00 PM - dark. Saturdays 8:00 am until dark, Sundays 11 - dark. Thanksgiving holidays, Nov. 25th - 29th open all day. We are open Thanksgiving Day which really is the best time to find the perfect tree and to avoid the crowds that visit on the Friday and Saturday following Thanksgiving. Before Nov. 20th, call ahead to schedule a time to come out; however, from the 20th on, we will follow the posted hours of operation. We do have a baler on site to bale your tree for easier transportation.
