The Roanoke Valley and Southside Virginia's Premiere Freshwater Shrimp Farm
Fresh water shrimp or prawns are raised in clean fresh deep well water free of environmental pollutants, chemicals, hormones and antibotics. The prawns are fed a blend of whole-some grain and protein for the best possible taste. Freshwater prawns are the healthy choice: half the fat of marine shrimp, low in iodine and sodium.
The prawns grow to be very large in these environmentally friendly surroundings, yielding prawns as large as 4 per pound with an average of 8 to 10 prawns per pound. Within minutes of harvest the product is ready for purchase and freezes well. The freshness and quality of this product is unsurpassed.
