About Us:
My Little Farms is the brain child that birth Nubian Goat Lady Spicy Gourmet BBQ Sauce. The company was founded April 2005 in the foothills of Stokesdale, North Carolina by Meat Goat Producer/Livestock Dealer and Farmer Barbara Ann Newsome. With a strong history in family farming, Barbara started a new career at age 48 as a Meat Goat Producer and Livestock Dealer. Newsome, a native of Northeastern North Carolina brings heritage, expertise and creativity together as a means of survival in today's economy. Home-made and home-grown is a way to make it through the tough times. Although Farming seems to be a thing of the past, it is rapidly re-surfacing in this time period. Barbara created ways for her wanna-be-country/ city friends to enjoy a little bit of farm life when she was in Stokesdale. Barbara now lives back in her hometown in Northampton County sharing her experience & love of being an Artist/Farm Girl/Storyteller through means of her visuals art and tasting her Gourmet BBQ Sauces and Blended Seasonings.

Her special gourmet sauce has been one of the creations from her past. From a family of share-croppers and hired-hands herself, Barbara enjoys telling stories about working in the hot sandy fields of Northeastern North Carolina. She has appreciated the value of being a farm girl through art. It is therapy!

"Take it from a real Farm Girl" "it jus ain't meat 'til it'z been kissed by Nubian Goat Lady's Spicy Gourmet BBQ Sauce. You won't go back to your old sauce".
