About the Commissioner's Food Safety Forum
The Commissioner’s Food Safety Forum is the event to discuss the future of food safety with the nation’s food safety experts, Congressional Delegation, industry leaders, regulators, public health officials, emergency management, and academia.
Highly pathogenic avian influenza will be discussed. While not a food safety issue, the disease could have a far-reaching implication on our food supply. WIll will also review North Carolina's possible response activities, discuss consumer trends and hear about problems facing the egg industry.
Anyone interested in food safety is encouraged to attend.
