Wishing Well Farm is a small. privately owned farm. located in Winston Salem. North Carolina. The farm specializes in breeding. sales prep. and lay-ups of Thoroughbreds. Hanoverian. Appendix. and Quarter Horse’s bred for Jumper/Dressage/Sport Horse. some young horses show great potential to be sold also as yearling racing prospects; we pride ourselves on the top racing bloodlines of our Broodmares and Stallions. Wishing Well Farm owns the majority of our horses; while a few are boarded for clients. Horses of all ages including retired campaigners are available for purchase at the farm.
Wishing Well Farm always attempts to find appropriate careers for it^s exceptionally temeperted. personalable horses. Fillies who excel or have exceptional lineage may join the farm^s broodmare band. Other fillies and geldings receive basic training. work out time. and relaxing fun just being a horse time and training for sport and pleasure horses. Our retired campaigners are great for trail riding or for riding lessons. We strive for the best all around horse and rider match. We also offer a choice of combination breeding from our stock to get the horse you want. You can choose from any of our wonderful exceptional lineage Broodmares to breed to one of our stallions.
Farm Management
Owned and managed by Michael and Bromley Howard. a father and daughter operation. also on board we have Mike Cardwell.Stallion handler. friend and all around Mr. Fixit. And Ross Doss for all the handy repairs required daily. Wishing Well Farm is home to 20-35 Thoroughbreds. Hanovarian. Quarter. and Appendix horses. Three stallions and three great watchman (dogs).
Wishing Well Farm Stallions
We have two thoroughbred Stallions along the lines of Cash on Delivery. Bold ruler. Romantico. Secretariat. Nasrullah. Caught Ya’ Lookin and Huguenot. Also standing is our appendix stallion going back to free ASA Eagle. Nashrullah. Sir Quincy Dan. and a strong HYPP negative Impressive lineage.
