According to USDA, The total value of NC Agriculture Exports exceeded $3 billion in 2008, an increase of over 70% from 2004. Agricultural exports help boost farm prices and income, while supporting about 36,000 jobs both on the farm and off the farm in food processing, storage, and transportation.
