On April 16, 2008, NCDA&CS partnered with Wal-Mart & Sam’s Club conducting a seminar to help NC farmers and food producers promote their products to these retail giants. More than 200 NC food companies attended the seminar and met with Wal-Mart & Sam’s Club buyers.
Commissioner Troxler spoke and emphasized the importance of the Got To Be NC campaign.
The event was featured by both the News & Observer newspaper and WRAL TV news.
