Open Wool Breed Sheep Show winners named

FLETCHER – Rudd Orr of Henderson County won Supreme Champion Ram in Sunday’s Open Wool Breed Sheep Show. Supreme Champion Ewe was awarded to Patrick Smith of Buncombe County. Augusta Petrick of Lincoln County won the Supreme Champion Flock and Premier Exhibitor for the show was Joseph Wesson of Henderson County.

Exhibitors for the show competed in classes divided by breed, age, and fleece color and length. Sheep were judged on wool and conformation.
