Livestock show recognizes some very special people

FLETCHER – Saturday morning at the NC Mountain State Fair, 10 local residents identified as having special needs exhibited sheep and goats in the Very Special Livestock Show. Exhibitors of various ages came out to display their showmanship as they showed both a sheep and a goat. Each exhibitor was awarded a blue ribbon and a 2009 NC Mountain State Fair pin. Show participants were:
