FLETCHER – Children of all ages can learn the fundamentals of going “green” at this year’s NC Mountain State Fair by attending Going Green with Ag, an educational magic show focusing on the importance of green initiatives in agriculture. Reduce, reuse, and recycle will be the recurring themes as performer Brad Matchett runs through tricks using props such as newspaper, glass bottles, a six-foot balloon, and Houdini the rabbit.
Going Green with Ag is one of a series of shows that Matchett has presented at the fair in recent years. Previous shows included the original Agricadabra and the Healthy Eating of Ag.

Shows will take place daily during the fair outside of the Commercial Exhibits tent with show times starting at 4:30 p.m. during the week, 11:30 a.m. on Saturdays, and 1:30 p.m. on Sundays. Visit www.mountainfair.org or call the WNC Agricultural Center at 828-687-1414 for more information.
