PROMOTIONAL EVENTS 2010
The Piedmont Triad Farmers Market is located in the center of a thriving metropolitan area.
We have found that a great number of people do not know very much about how produce is grown, or they do not know that there are several varieties of each commodity. To help introduce more people to the market, and to the farmers who actually farm for a living, we have several promotions during the year to bring attention to fresh fruits and vegetables that are "in season". Here is a list of activities planned for the next few months.

WKZL Easter Egg Festival
Saturday, April 3 10:00am - 1:00pm
Join the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market and 107.5 KZL for a fun filled day of activities for children ages two to nine. Lots of games and prizes. Bring your egg baskets and come for the Egg Hunts. For more information call 105.7 KZL at (336)274-8042
Greenhouse Vegetable Day
Friday, April 16 11:00am - 1:00pm
Come out to the Market and enjoy a delicious greenhouse tomatos. An NCDA&CS marketing specialist will be here slicing tomatoes and and making sandwiches......and it's all free!!

Sample several varieties of farm fresh peaches to determine your favorite, then stock up while they're in season and plentiful. A marketing specialist will be on hand to answer any peach related questions you might have and to hand out brochures.
