NC Pine Needles

The Perfect Mulch!
A mulch which never compacts and never allows soil compaction.
A mulch which conserves moisture, buffers extreme temperatures and beautifies any landscape.
A mulch that does not harbor artillery fungus or termites.
A cost-effective, long lasting mulch that is easily spread and all without harming a tree.
Where to use Pine Needles?

  • Home & Commercial Landscapes, Parks and Golf Courses
  • Flower Beds
  • Natural Areas
  • Pathways
  • Steep Banks
  • Pet Bedding
  • Livestock Barns

The North Carolina Pine Needle Producers Association has been promoting the planting of longleaf pine seedlings since the mid ‘80s and with three million acres planted; there is a more than adequate supply of mother nature’s perfect mulch.  The longleaf pine (Pinus palustris) is a very important species native to the Southeastern U.S.  Support of the longleaf pine needle industry insures the perpetuation of longleaf pines and all other species indigenous to their ecosystem.
