North Carolina Crawfish Growers Association

The North Carolina Crawfish Growers Association (NCCGA) promotes the production and marketing of North Carolina grown crawfish. The Association has an annual meeting each March, and holds at least one fund-raising boil during the year.

North Carolina Crawfish Grower's Association Meeting Slated

The North Carolina Crawfish Growers Association will hold its annual meeting on March 5, 2008 at the Washington Civic Center in Washington, NC. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am and will include discussion of last year’s Promotional Boils, the planning of the 2008 Promotional Boils, crawfish bait needs, this past year’s drought’s affects on crawfish production, a discussion of crawfish Best Management Practices for North Carolina, and election of the 2008 association officers. The meeting will conclude by 2:00 pm. If you are interested in crawfish production, this will be an excellent opportunity to visit with many of North Carolina’s most experienced growers. A lunch, sponsored by the City of Washington’s Planning Department, will be served during the meeting. Because of this, registration will be required by February 29, 2008. The Washington Civic Center is located in downtown Washington at 110 N. Gladden Street, on the corner of Second and Gladden Streets.
