“Agritourism in the Mountains”

The first-ever Agritourism booth will be in the Davis Arena at the Mountain State Fair September 7 – 16! The booth will feature a map of the Agritourism Networking Association districts – West, Northwest and Southwest. Sponsors who have donated $25 toward ANA scholarships and/or volunteered time to work at the booth will receive “Got to Be NC Agritourism” golf shirts as a “thank you” for their support.

Two banners will have pictures of farms in the three districts (sorry we couldn’t get everyone on the banner!). Visitors will receive cards listing the Agritourism link to the General Store, www.visitncfarms.com, and the link to the Agritourism Office, www.ncagr.gov/agritourism to remind them how to find farms and get resources if they are interested in beginning agritourism farms themselves.
