Benefits Administration

The Department provides a variety of employee benefits. The Benefits Administrator is available for detailed information and interpretation on the following policies: vacation leave; sick leave; child involvement leave; adverse weather leave; compensatory leave; civil leave; holidays; family and medical leave; military leave; workers' compensation leave; other types of leave without pay; and the voluntary shared leave program.

Additionally, the Benefits Administrator provides information on the State Employees' and Teachers' Retirement System, the various Health Insurance Programs that are offered, dental insurance, and a variety of other group insurance programs, including disability, life and accident.
