Submitting Samples for Problem Diagnosis
When troubleshooting crop problems, clients often submit several types of samples from both "good" and "bad" areas of a field. The Agronomic Division offers six diagnostic services: soil testing, nematode assay, plant tissue analysis, waste analysis, solution analysis and soilless media analysis. Although clients can submit samples from the same area for more than one type of test, each lab must be provided with complete and detailed paperwork (sample information forms) documenting the problem.
Before collecting and submitting any problem/diagostic samples, please read these instructions:
Here are some examples of properly completed sample information forms:
- Plant Tissue Sample Information (form AD4) and matching Diagnostic Soil Sample Information (form AD2) for comparative problem samples
- Nematode Problem-Diagnosis Information (form AD5)
