Submit an adequate sample.
 Collect about 20 leaf blades
and corresponding petioles.
If the leaves are small, include additional material.
Quantity is important for two reasons:
1) the laboratory needs enough material for the
chemical procedures;
2) the sample needs to be representative of conditions in the whole field.
