Post-season Corn Stalk Nitrate Test  ($5 per sample for NO₃-N measurement only)

During the 3-wk period following formation of
the black layer, collect 8-in. sections of stalk
from15 locations. Collect the 8-in. section
beginning 6 in. above the soil line and ending
14 in. above the soil line.
