At silking and maturity (to diagnose nutritional problems)
Collect the earleaf, which is opposite and below the uppermost developing ear, from 15 to 20 plants from random
locations in
the field.
Write these codes on the Plant Sample Information form:
Growth Stage: F (fruit) or M (mature)
Plant Part: E (earleaf)
Plant Position: U (upper plant)
