Mission Statement
To protect the health and safety of the public and the environment by regulating the structural pest control industry and the pesticide products used, to improve the quality of structural pest control services and reduce fraudulent, unscrupulous activities.

Registered Technician (RT card)- $40.00 for new card and/or renewal
Certified Applicators (CA card)- $50.00 for new card and/or renewal
License (Lic) - $200.00 for first phase/
$75.00 for each additional phase
Transfer Fees
There is a $10.00 fee to transfer License
There is a $5.00 fee to transfer Certified Applicator Cards
Registered Technican (RT) Cards are not transferable
RT Cards are purchased for $40.00
Duplication fees
There is a $5.00 duplication fee for any card which is lost, damaged or destroyed
Examination Fees*
Certification Exams - $25.00 per phase (P, W,F)
No fee for the Core exam
License Exam- $50.00 per phase (P, W, F)
** The fee for attending the Registered Technician Training Program has not changed. This fee is still $25.00**
The Structural Pest Control Section (SPC) is a regulatory agency responsible for the administration of the Structural Pest Control Law and the Rules adopted thereunder by the Structural Pest Control Committee (SPCC).
***The North Carolina Structural Pest Control Committee issued a directive effective immediately. All persons applying to take the license exam must submit a Criminal Background Check with your 9 page application. No applications without a background check will be accepted by SPC.***
