North Carolina Plant Conservation Laws and Regulations

Effective January 20, 2016, Galax (Galax urceolata) may only be legally bought or sold
during the Buying Season of June 15th through April 15th.

Note: The criminal tresspass laws include misdemeanor charges and fines for taking specific plant species and felony taking of Venus flytrap.
