HOW TO OBTAIN
According to 9 CFR 314.9(a) “Specimens of condemned or other inedible materials, including embryos and specimens of animals parasites, may be released for educational, research, or other nonfood purposes under a permit.” To obtain a permit, an application must be submitted to NCDA&CS Meat and Poultry Inspection Division.
